Job summary

Lifepoint Health, Inc. seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential patient care under nursing supervision in a clinical setting. The role supports daily living activities, safety, and comfort while ensuring accurate documentation of care and vitals.

The successful candidate will have a Nursing Assistant training certificate, current state CNA certification, and CPR/BCLS. Prior acute or long-term care experience is preferred, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered service

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant training course.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.
• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic patient care under supervision of nursing staff.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Provide general nursing support including positioning, turning, and using equipment.
• Take and record vital signs accurately and document promptly.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling patient belongings.
• Respond to patient call lights, phones, and pages promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
