Job summary

Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate basic care under RN direction. You will support daily living activities, assist with patient transport, and contribute to the patient’s care plan as part of the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, and CA CNA certification with CPR. Prior acute care experience is preferred, and you will work in a 394-bed hospital that serves a large patient

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current CNA certification in California (CA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic care and comfort under RN direction.
• Assist with patient transport and activities of daily living.
• Contribute to the patient’s plan of care as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and patient rights according to hospital policies.
• Support communication with patients and families using AIDET principles.
