Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or HSED or High School Diploma required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide certification in good standing per state registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes with room setup and patient belongings.
• Perform rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist with nutrition and skin care tasks as directed by RN.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing per approved process.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and proper PPE.
• Coordinate tests and treatments and maintain knowledge of EMR/EHR systems.
• Provide patient and family communication and respond to call lights promptly.
