Job summary

Dartmouth-Hitchcock is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support residents with activities of daily living and to promote independence in Harvest Hill. The role requires compassion, good communication, and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, bathing, mobility, dining support, and documenting incidents. A NH Licensed Nursing Assistant license is required, with flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently in routine and emergency situations.
• Must relate to residents and staff in a courteous, diplomatic manner.
• Must be willing to learn and be organized with minimal errors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living: dressing, bathing, hygiene, mobility, and care of ADL devices.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and cognitive status.
• Assist with dining, personal laundry, and participate in recreation activities as needed.
• Respond to emergencies or disasters and communicate with staff promptly.
• Document resident incidents and maintain accurate records.
• Assist licensed personnel in assessing needs and revising care plans.
