Qualifications

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Accurately records vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience.
• Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
• Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including grooming, bathing, and dressing per policy.
• Change linens and keep resident environment stocked.
• Safely ambulate and transfer residents with assistive devices.
• Document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meals.
• Turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
