Signature HealthCARE of Elizabethton Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver direct resident care and support daily activities under licensed supervision. Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, with personal integrity and stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment per facility policies.
• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
• Support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
• Take on other special projects and duties as assigned.
