Job summary
Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support the Geri Psych Seton 7 West unit. Under RN supervision, you will provide direct patient care and assist with personal needs.
The role requires Massachusetts CNA license or enrollment, high school diploma, and at least one year of CNA experience or nursing student status. Strong communication and compassion are essential.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Massachusetts CNA certification or enrollment in accredited nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing I & II.
- Minimum of one year experience as a CNA or nursing student who completed Fundamentals of Nursing I & II.
- Knowledge of medical terminology; ability to communicate effectively in English; ability to prioritize multiple requests; compassionate, empathetic and responsive to patient needs.

- Provides care addressing the needs of age groups from infant to elderly.
- Incorporates commitment to patient rights, exceptional care and hospital values in performance.
