Job summary

Cypress Pointe Health & Wellness Center in Houston, TX is hiring Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for full-time day, evening, and night shifts. You will work one-on-one with patients, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support quality care.

Qualifications

Texas CNA certification required.
CPR certification required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Assists patients to maintain their current level of function or to restore function of ADL’s
Acts as an active member of the interdisciplinary team
Complies with the Code of Conduct and corporate compliance
Maintains confidentiality of all patient information to ensure patient’s rights are protected
Uses appropriate equipment (lifts/gait belt) and follows policy when transferring patients.
Changes patient bedding as necessary and makes unoccupied beds
Serves and assist in tray set and assist in picking up trays/passes drinking water and ice
Answers call bells timely reports issues to charge nurse
