Job summary

Prairie Heights Healthcare in Aberdeen, South Dakota, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time position to support patients with daily living activities and vital sign monitoring.

You will collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans, maintain accurate records, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices in patient care.

Qualifications

• Currently certified CNA in the state of South Dakota.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming) to promote independence.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to licensed nurses.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment.
• Participate in in-service training and ongoing education.
