Job summary

Walworth County in Elkhorn, WI is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant. You will provide resident-focused daily living assistance, hygiene, mobility support, and meal assistance in accordance with each resident's care plan.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 0–6 months of related experience, with knowledge of medical terms and good communication skills. CNA certification and state registry are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or in progress and 0–6 months related experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic arithmetic skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene including oral care, bathing, hair washing, shaving, skin care, nail care, and hand washing.
• Assist with toileting including bowel and bladder retraining and perineal care.
• Help with mobility, transfers, ambulation, position changes and ROM.
• Serve residents meals and assist during meals.
• Prepare modified diet menus as needed and maintain related records.
• Use assistive devices and correct body mechanics when lifting or moving residents.
• Document care details such as vitals and mobility on required forms and charts.
• Maintain resident room cleanliness and bedding; manage soiled linens.
