Job summary

The San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under the supervision of the Unit Manager or Charge Nurse. You will support daily living activities, monitor residents’ conditions, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment for seniors.

Responsibilities include reporting changes to staff, assisting with mobility and transportation, and ensuring infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited CNA program.
• Current, active CNA certification in California.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs including grooming, hygiene, nutrition, activity, rest and elimination.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable environment and support proper ventilation, lighting, and furniture.
• Promote residents' dignity and uphold resident rights; report signs of abuse immediately.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, visitors, and healthcare team members.
