Job summary

Park Avenue Nursing Home is seeking compassionate CNAs to join the team. We offer FT, PT shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. You will perform direct resident care under licensed nurses, promoting a home-like environment and adhering to care plans and resident rights.

Strong communication and English proficiency are essential. Prior LTC experience and completion of CNA training are preferred; state registry in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and staff in English.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience preferred or equivalent education.
• State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program completed.
• Good standing in the state registry required.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and determine resident needs; keep call lights within reach.
• Provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Explain procedures to residents and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers, mobility and positioning; ensure safety.
• Record meals, fluids, and care provided; monitor resident condition.
• Report changes to supervisor and participate in nursing handoffs.
