Job summary

Mission Nursing & Rehabilitation in Mission, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for full-time daytime hours to provide compassionate care to patients. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and collaborate with nursing staff to support patient comfort, safety, and dignity.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited CNA program, holds valid CNA licensure, and can pass background checks and health screenings.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited CNA training program.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.
Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper hydration.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status, concerns, and changes in condition.
Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
