Job summary

Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls, MT is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for full-time, 40 hours per week. The role includes assisting residents with daily activities, measuring vital signs, and providing compassionate support to residents and families.

Schedule includes Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm with shift differentials. Montana CNA certification and 2 years of CNA experience required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Montana CNA certification.
• Two years of CNA experience.
• Other equivalent combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by‑case basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and daily living tasks.
• Record and monitor residents' vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, respiratory rate).
• Provide compassionate support to residents and families and facilitate open communication.
