Cedar Ridge Inn in Farmington, New Mexico is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct, hands-on care to residents, assisting with ADLs, mobility, nutrition, and individualized needs as outlined in care plans.

You will work closely with licensed staff to recognize changes in condition, document care, and ensure responsive, person-centered support in a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification/status meeting NM requirements
• Active certification in good standing
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or related healthcare setting preferred
• Compassionate, respectful approach to caring for older adults
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable attendance and commitment to schedules
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and safety procedures
• Ability to work as part of a nursing and interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, personal care)
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs per care plans
• Safely assist transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and mobility
• Reposition residents to promote comfort and skin integrity
• Document vital signs (temperature, pulse, resp., BP) as assigned
• Observe changes and report concerns to supervising nurse
• Respond to call lights promptly and professionally
• Provide toileting and incontinence care respecting privacy
• Follow care plans and nursing instructions
• Document resident care and services per procedures
• Maintain clean, safe, organized rooms and areas
• Follow infection prevention practices and PPE usage
• Communicate with residents, families, nurses, and care team
• Report accidents or safety concerns immediately
• Protect resident rights, privacy, dignity, and preferences
• Follow Cedar Ridge Inn policies and applicable regulations
