Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Cincinnati Downtown seeks a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time, 12-hour day shifts in Cincinnati, OH. The role offers hourly compensation ranging from $19.64 to $26.44 based on experience and includes orientation and growth opportunities.

The CNA will provide direct patient care, assist with mobility, hygiene, and nutrition, and support the care team in a busy inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student).

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing of patients using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist transporters with stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
