Job summary

Country Manor La Mesa is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant for PM and NOC shifts to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with assessment plans and regulatory standards.

Must have an active CNA license. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, answering call lights, lifting and transferring residents, feeding, and reporting changes to the nurse supervisor. Training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Completion CNA training from accredited school.
• Valid CNA certificate number.

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights.
• Ensure privacy during care.
• Make residents comfortable (bed, water, etc.).
• Assist in feeding residents (cutting food, spoon feeding).
• Help with grooming and bathing.
• Proper lifting and transferring residents.
• Help residents sit, stand, and walk.
• Transport residents to dining area and return to room.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
