The Employee Connect is recruiting Certified Nursing Assistants for a leading regional healthcare provider in Portland, ME. Roles include full-time, part-time, and per diem with day, evening, and night shifts.

Emphasis on compassionate resident care across assisted living and skilled nursing, with orientation and structured training. Opportunities for advancement to medication aide, charge, and nursing roles exist within a supportive, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in good standing on the state nurse aide registry.
• Clear communication skills and a genuine commitment to compassionate care.
• Ability to pass a background check and health screening.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Measure and record vital signs, weights and intake/output.
• Support residents during meals and monitor nutrition/hydration.
• Document care in the electronic health record per shift.
• Observe changes and report to the charge nurse promptly.
• Provide dementia-friendly, person-centered care.
• Maintain clean, safe rooms and common areas.
• Follow infection control and fall prevention policies.
