Job summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at North Valley Hospital District's Long Term Care Facility provides compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living needs in a safe, home-like setting.

You will work under the Charge Nurse, document care, monitor resident status, and follow infection control procedures to ensure high-quality care. Washington CNA certification is required with a high school diploma; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CNA certification in the State of Washington.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Provide mobility support, including transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient data.
• Support residents during meals and ensure dietary needs are met.
• Maintain infection control and safety procedures in the living area.
• Document care provided in residents' records and communicate with the team.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and advocate for residents' needs.
