Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in the United States is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to work with patients in their own homes, providing compassionate, in-home care and recording vital signs as ordered. You must complete a nursing assistant/home health aide program and Maxim's Clinical Competency Program, maintain CPR/First Aid, read and follow care plans, and meet state background requirements.

Qualifications

Successful completion of a nursing assistant/home health aide program as required by state/federal regulations
Successful completion of Maxim's Clinical Competency Program for home health aides with 80% score or higher
Ability to read and follow written care instructions and document care properly
Meets Maxim and applicable State Background Investigation requirements
Current CPR certification and First Aid as applicable

Responsibilities

Assistance with personal care activities such as showering, bathing, dressing, etc.
Takes and records temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered
Assists with mobility, transfers and use of mobility devices
Completes extensional therapy tasks with demonstrated competency as ordered
