Presbyterian Living, located in Evanston, IL, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under nurse supervision. The role supports skilled nursing and assisted living environments with a 7am–3pm schedule and every‑other‑weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification issued by Illinois Department of Public Health.
• English reading/writing/comprehension with ability to use medical terminology.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care for older adults.
• Long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
• General knowledge of geriatric residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nursing care within scope of education and as assigned by charge nurse.
• Follow Presbyterian Homes policies and care standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
• Build rapport and engage residents to support social needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Charge Nurse.
