Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy, NY. As a caring member of our nursing team, you will provide resident care under RN/LPN supervision and help with daily activities.

This full-time, day-shift position offers pay range $17.55 to $22.93 per hour, commensurate with experience and education, and emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care. Applicants must be licensed CNAs in New York and proficient in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with New York State.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a sincere desire to serve others.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing personnel in providing basic care for residents, necessary unit tasks and functions.
• Maintain standards of Nursing Care; perform selected resident care as directed by the RN or LPN.
• Follow work assignments and schedules to complete tasks.
• Create a warm, caring, calm environment for residents on the unit and shift.
• Assist residents with hygiene needs and feeding as needed.
• Weigh and measure vital signs and report abnormalities to the Charge Nurse.
