Job summary

Trinity Health’s Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy, NY is hiring for Certified Nursing Assistant. The role supports elderly residents with direct care, under supervision, and requires completing the CNA training and passing the NYS CNA exam.

Hours are full-time on all shifts, with training provided; employment emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care and adherence to mission values in a busy geriatric setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English; High School Diploma or equivalent life-experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a sincere desire to serve others.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete the Certified Nurse Aide Training course, addressing all care areas for geriatric residents.
• Maintain attendance and be prompt, prepared for class and report as scheduled.
• Adhere to all rules and policies governing student conduct and standards of behavior.
• Successfully pass the NYS Certified Nurse Aide Exam (written and clinical skills).
• Other duties as assigned.
