Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered CNA certification in the state of practice

• Current CPR/BLS certification (may be required by facility)
• Ability to pass background check and health screening (TB test, immunizations)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with feeding and monitor nutritional/fluid intake
• Reposition residents to prevent pressure injuries and assist with mobility exercises
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or mood to licensed nurses
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, treating them with dignity and respect
