Job summary

Qualifications

• Washington NAC or NAR certification in good standing (or eligible)
• Completed state-approved CNA training program (108 hours) with competency exam
• Ability to work under supervision and follow facility policies
• Passing a background check and drug screen as required by state/facility
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, and staff
• HIPAA confidentiality mindset

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and essential personal care
• Observe and report changes in client condition to licensed nurse
• Record vital signs and monitor intake/output
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and dignity
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of client rooms and common areas
• Respond to call lights promptly and document care provided
• Follow infection control practices and safety protocols
