Job summary

The Brien Center in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated direct care worker to support individuals in ACCS residences and community settings under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will help with daily living tasks, hygiene, medication administration, and recording health data.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, MAP/CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months), and strong report-writing skills to document observations and progress toward

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• MAP and CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within first 3 months of employment.
• Ability to write clear concise reports based on observations of persons served behavior.
• Knowledge of licensing requirements and ability to maintain those standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide episodic care to individuals in ACCS residences and community under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, bathing, dressing, and oral care.
• Administer medications according to MAP guidelines.
• Record vital signs and monitor health status.
• Attend medical team meetings and communicate effectively with the ACCS team.
