Job summary

Tradition Homecare - FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our caregiving team in Port Saint Lucie, FL. You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and provide compassionate support to improve quality of life.

The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to advocating for patients. Valid HHA or CNA certification, CPR card, and background screening are required to begin.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certification is required.
• Background Screen Level 2 is required.
• Current CPR card (AHA or Red Cross) is required.
• In-services covering OSHA, HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's, Domestic Violence, self-medication, HIPAA are expected.
• Professional liability insurance is required.
• Driver's license or ID card is required.
• Auto insurance is required if applicable.
• Social Security Card is required.
• Proof of residency or citizenship is required.
• Current physical examination is required.
• Current PPD or Chest X-ray is required.
• Verification of employment may be requested.
• Palm Beach license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Assist with mobility, walking, and PT exercises.
• Provide adjunct client care.
• Provide companion care.
• Ride along to doctor appointments.
