Job summary

Visiting Angels Bettendorf in the Quad Cities area (Davenport) is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate in-home care and companionship. You will assist with mobility, personal care, meal prep, and light housekeeping while helping seniors stay safe at home.

We offer training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care and opportunities for growth. A valid driver’s license is required, and shifts include multiple options to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
