Job summary

Laurel Court in Alvin, TX is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate healthcare team. You will provide hands-on patient care, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and play a critical role in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity in a skilled nursing setting.

We offer flexible scheduling, including 2p-10p and 10p-6a shifts with double weekends, along with competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification is required.
• Ability to lift/move and transfer patients safely.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience assisting with ADLs and CNA duties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor, observe, and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Accurately document patient care and daily activities per regulations.
• Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure equipment is clean and functioning.
