Job summary

Right At Home Greater Fairfield County is hiring caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors and adults with disabilities in the local community. You will assist with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping and personal care, while building meaningful relationships with clients.

Qualifications

Six months experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) course
High school degree or GED
Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
Current CPR Certificate is recommended
Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, toileting, skin and hair care)
Provide assistance with personal care and light housekeeping as needed
Assist with meal preparation and kitchen duties
Care for seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes or communities
Maintain a safe, clean and supportive home environment
