Visiting Angels Humble is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate home care for seniors in Humble and surrounding areas. You will help with daily activities, mobility, meals, and companionship, improving quality of life for clients and families.

The role offers opportunities for training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care, with a range of shifts including full-time, part-time, and PRN to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Respectful and compassionate behavior.
• Good time management skills.

• Physical endurance for home care tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from clients when able.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
