Job summary

Birch Creek Post Acute and Rehab in Tacoma, WA is hiring compassionate CNAs to join our long-term care family. Full-time & PRN positions available; shifts 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm. Earn $22-$24.60 per hour with applicable shift differentials and daily pay options.

Provide basic nursing care under licensed supervision, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain safe, clean resident environments. CNA certification in good standing required; experience in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing in relevant state.
• Previous experience in long-term care or senior living (preferred).
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds - physical work is a primary part of the job.
• Able to stand, bend and walk for extended time periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to residents under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.
• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Keep residents dry and ensure linens are clean and dry.
• Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions.
• Assist with ambulation and transporting residents as needed.
• Perform restorative procedures as instructed.
• Record heights, weights, temperatures, pulses, and blood pressures as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident units and related areas.
