Job summary

Birch Creek Post Acute & Rehabilitation in Tacoma, WA is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our long-term care team. You’ll provide basic nursing care under licensed supervision and assist residents with daily activities, bathing, grooming, and hygiene while maintaining safety and dignity.

We offer flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, PRN), competitive pay $22–$24.60 per hour with shift differentials, and benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement, and same-day pay.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or senior living preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and device care.
• Keep residents dry and change linens as needed.
• Handle linens and maintain infection control.
• Assist with bowel and bladder functions.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and transfers.
• Support ambulation with/without devices.
• Perform restorative procedures as instructed.
• Record heights, weights, vitals as directed.
• Report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of units and supply rooms.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
