Job summary

Meadow View Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking seasoned and newly graduated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team in Hallstead, PA. Our facility focuses on quality care in a supportive environment, offering short-stay rehab and long-term care.

We value compassionate, professional staff committed to resident well-being. As a CNA at Meadow View, you will assist with ADLs, monitor residents, document care, and collaborate with nurses to maintain safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA Course.
• Valid PA CNA Certification.
• Demonstrated experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ambulate or assist in ambulation of the residents.
• Transfer residents from bed to chair or toilet.
• Lift residents as required; use mechanical lift when required.
• Bathe, dress, toilet residents requiring assistance.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks (brush teeth, comb hair, etc.).
• Change bed linens and towels per schedule.
• Turn and position residents unable to turn.
• Answer emergency call lights promptly.
• Serve resident food as required.
• Report changes in resident’s condition to supervisor.
• Document care provided in medical record.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Attend in-service programs and staff meetings.
• Follow daily assignments and respond calmly in emergencies.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; communicate effectively in English.
• Observe isolation techniques and safe work habits.
• Load and push laundry carts; assist with housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with or perform duties across units as required.
