Job summary

Right at Home in Texas is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health needs, and support the client in a respectful, professional manner.

Training is provided; you’ll work closely with a nurse and gain growth opportunities through ongoing development. We offer flexible shifts, weekly pay, and paid travel time between clients.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Six months CNA experience in health care and completion of a State approved CNA course.
• Sympathetic attitude toward patient care.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured transportation.
• Current CPR certificate is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, bathing, ambulation, eating, dressing, light housekeeping).
• Provide meals and operate a kitchen safely.
• Follow nurse instructions for patient care and use devices for daily living.
• Measure vital signs and assist with prescribed routines.
• Support with ostomy care, dressings and mobility devices as directed.
