Job summary

Masonic Homes Kentucky, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time work at Sam Swope Care Center on the Louisville campus. You will provide hands-on care, support residents with ADLs, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure high-quality care in a compassionate, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky CNA certification in good standing.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, flexible and committed to resident-centered care.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff.
• Empathy, respect and professionalism in every interaction.
• Physical ability to lift, move and assist residents as needed.
• Successful completion of pre-screening hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health to licensed nurses.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Support residents’ physical and emotional well-being with compassion and consistency.
• Transport, lift and reposition residents safely using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe resident environment, including restocking and sanitizing areas.
• Assist with isolation procedures and following all infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other caregivers to ensure quality care delivery.
