Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Owensville, MO is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in delivering compassionate care to residents in need. The role requires patience and empathy to help elderly residents with daily activities, under established care plans, in a respectful environment.

The ideal candidate will have state CNA certification in good standing or completion of an approved CNA program, plus strong communication skills and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the certification board or graduate of a state-approved CNA training program and passed a state-approved competency examination.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care preferred.
• Must communicate effectively in writing and orally in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services to nurse and staff as needed and perform duties as assigned.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living in line with care plans and policies.
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinate dining room services, meal setup, delivery, feeding assistance and meal intake documentation.
• Deliver nutritional supplements and document intake.
• Weigh residents and report changes to nurse/supervisor.
• Monitor skin condition and report issues to nurse/supervisor.
• Assist with toileting program activities and complete flow sheets daily.
• Keep supervisor informed of factors affecting work performance.
• Report changes in a resident's condition to the nurse and supervisor.
