Job summary

Volare Health's Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Roseburg, OR is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN shifts, joining a supportive care team focused on resident comfort, safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in good standing with the state.
• Ability to pick up 1–2 shifts per pay period and 2 weekend shifts per month as required for PRN status.
• Recent CNA education or completed clinical hours.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented approach to resident care.
• Commitment to treating every resident with respect, dignity, and kindness.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Promoting resident safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Following individualized care plans and accurately documenting vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas.
• Communicating and collaborating with nurses and other members of the care team.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
