Job summary

Human Touch Home Care in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct in-home care under RN or LPN supervision. You will assist with ADLs, monitor health, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for clients.

The role requires CNA certification, willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift patients safely. Prior home health experience preferred; PRN shifts available.

Qualifications

• Active certification as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance: bathing, eating, dressing, hygiene, mobility, exercise.
• Household Care: housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, dietary aide.
• Companionship: conversation, reminders.
• Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Help patients with walking, transferring, and physical exercises as prescribed.
• Assist with medication reminders and adherence as per the care plan.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and changing bed linens.
• Engage patients in conversation and provide emotional support and companionship.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in health status to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and observations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Follow infection control procedures and ensure a safe environment for patients.
