Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Aide to support elderly clients in the Central Texas area, including Hearne, Bryan, College Station, Brenham and beyond. The role provides in-home and facility shifts, flexible scheduling, and immediate start options.

The CNA will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, mobility, medication reminders, and companionship, delivering high-quality care in clients' homes at a moment's notice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on time.
• Assist with shopping or errands as needed.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Support mobility and accompaniment to appointments and activities.
