• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes.
• Capable of lifting groceries and physically supporting a client.
• Comfortable with housekeeping and cooking duties as needed.
• Willing and able to comply with health and safety standards.
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten each client's day.

Responsibilities

• As a Visiting Angels CNA Nurse Aide, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans.
• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications appropriately.
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments/errands.
