Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is hiring a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, high-quality personal care in a group home setting. The role requires assisting residents with daily activities, coordinating with RNs and LPNs, and monitoring vitals as part of a patient-centered care team.

Full-time schedule includes 8a-8p and 8p-8a every other weekend, with potential flexibility to 7a-7p or 7p-7a. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification WV is required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate nature with good communication; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home setting.
• Work with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver patient care.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, monitor intake/output, blood glucose, and document changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring changes in care, medication, or equipment.
