Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care of the Northern Shenandoah Valley is seeking compassionate CNAs in Purcellville, VA to deliver exceptional in-home care for seniors and others in need. You’ll provide personal care, health monitoring, and companionship while following tailored care plans.

Applicants must hold CNA, CPR, and PPD certifications, have a valid driver's license with reliable insurance, and be comfortable with light household tasks, transportation, and communicating with families and teams.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• PPD certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance are needed.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Access to email and a smartphone for communication.
• Training available for those new to home care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, bathing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor health and report changes to families or supervisors.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide transportation to errands, appointments, and social events.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Follow individualized care plans for consistent service.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to meet needs.
