Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join Sundance Inn Health Center in New Braunfels, TX. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to provide hands-on patient care in a skilled nursing setting.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor patient condition, document care, and follow individualized care plans while maintaining safety and dignity. Active CNA certification and ability to lift and move patients are required; English

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• Ability to lift, move and transfer patients safely.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work in a team and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor, observe, and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Accurately document patient care and daily activities in accordance with regulations.
• Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment.
• Participate in shift handoffs, team communication, and ongoing training.
• Follow all state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
