Addus HomeCare is hiring CNAs to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes across multiple locations. The role emphasizes following care plans, assisting with personal care, and helping with daily tasks while offering flexible hours and opportunities for daily or weekly pay.

The position is entry-level, focusing on delivering compassionate service, with travel considerations and safety policies in place to protect employees and clients alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care services experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member, and report on completed tasks
• Support with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support with routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport client to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition
