Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Maple Grove, MN is seeking compassionate Caregiver/CNA to support clients in-home. Positions include evenings 2-10pm on alternating Mon/Tue/Fri/Sun, with driving and documentation duties.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medication reminders, mobility transfers, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and using a smartphone to view care plans and report tasks. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Medication administration experience.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Caregiver/CNA in in-home care, long-term care, assisted living, dementia care, nursing homes or hospice.
• Valid Driver’s License and active Auto Insurance.
• Able to pass background checks.
• Willing to drive personal vehicle for client transportation.
• Willing to perform personal cares for males and females.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to read, comprehend and clearly speak English.
• Capable of using a smartphone to send texts/emails, view care plans and complete training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using Hoyer Lift.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry and tidying living spaces.
• Drive clients to appointments or social outings.
• Follow care plans and accurately document tasks.
• Use smartphone to view care plans and record tasks, and to communicate with clients and team.
