Job summary

Maplewood at Newtown, located at 166 Mount Pleasant Road, Newtown, CT 06470, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Resident Care team.

Qualifications

• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Good physical and emotional health, free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, continence, dining and mobility needs.
• Engage residents through interaction and activities.
• Work with the nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and resident rooms.
