Job summary

Maplewood Senior Living in Danbury, CT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care for residents across all shifts. Current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration is required.

Maplewood Senior Living conducts pre-employment screening including background checks and drug tests. The CNA will work closely with the nursing team to meet residents' needs, assist with activities, and promote a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• CT Nurse’s Aide Registration required.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Physically demanding tasks up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, continence care, dining and mobility.
• Engaging residents through conversation and activities.
• Working with the nursing team to meet resident care needs.
• Maintaining a clean, safe resident environment and rooms.
