Job summary

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide nursing care to residents within CRSS Skilled Nursing Facilities. The CNA supports residents who require 24-hour supervision due to physical, functional, or social impairments, assisting with activities of daily living, housekeeping, and general care needs.

This position is available as part-time, evenings, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the State of Missouri Certified Nurse Assistant training program and be in good standing.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care to residents per the plan of care under supervision.
• Reports to the charge nurse at shift start for assignment and updates.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Supports residents with meals and monitors intake.
• Conducts frequent rounds to ensure resident needs are met and call lights are answered promptly.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness, and proper documentation per facility policy.
• Communicates with charge nurse or supervisor before breaks and follows emergency procedures.
