Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate care team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. This role offers Full-Time and Part-Time evening shifts, with competitive hourly pay and a shift differential to recognize in-demand hours.

You'll support daily living activities, provide companionship, monitor residents' health, and collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa CNA certification or ability to activate certification.
• Commitment to resident care, professionalism and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while fostering a positive environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
